Your Studio³ Questions Answered!

There are a couple of ways to start. We offer both Introductory Privates and Semi-Private options as well as beginner level Group Classes. We always recommend that if you’re new to the studio to start with our 1:1 or semi-private sessions.

One of our Studio³ Pilates instructors, Nikki, shares her insights into getting started:

We would love to have you stop in and take a tour of our studio.

We operate by appointment only, so the best way to ensure someone is at the studio to answer your questions and show you around is to give us a call or email us to book a time.

If you’re in the Rosedale neighbourhood and just want to drop in, one of our instructors will provide you with a quick inquiry card and studio management will be in touch in a timely manner.

Private and semi-private (tandem) sessions are 60 minutes in length.
Group classes are 55 minutes.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. While Pilates is practiced either in bare feet or grippy socks, Yoga is practiced barefoot.

All of our equipment and mats are fully cleaned and wiped with a natural disinfectant between every client. We recommend bringing a water bottle and we also request that cell phones are put on silent during your session.

Our Pilates Instructors are fully certified STOTT Pilates instructors who are highly trained to work with different body types, limitations and injuries.

For private and semi private sessions, your instructor will have prior notice about any injuries from your intake forms.

We highly recommend starting with private sessions to properly address your specific needs and get the most out of your sessions at the studio.

Here’s Studio³ Pilates instructor, Nikki, talking about the studio’s collaborative programming process:

Pilates is a great form of exercise to continue during and after your pregnancy. If you are pregnant and new to Pilates it is best to start with private sessions.

We highly recommend private sessions to tailor your training to your unique pregnancy journey.

If you have done Pilates and have your doctor’s clearance to continue doing Pilates during your pregnancy, please reach out to the studio and we can recommend which of our classes would be the best fit.

All adults are welcome! All of our instructors work with a variety of ages. Pilates is for everyone!

The set up at the studio is designed to give every client a focused session.

We don’t book more than 7 sessions into the space that spans over two floors at any time and our small group classes take place in rooms that are separate from private training.

We manage our space with the utmost care and attention to ensure that every Studio³ client has a fantastic session each time.

No. All sessions are instructor guided and booked in through studio management.

We offer small classes with a maximum of 3-4 participants in each class.

Here’s Studio³ Pilates instructor, Julia, sharing the benefits of working in a small group format:

We do not play music in class. We want you to be able to give your full attention to the exercises and your body. For more details visit our Group Classes page.

Because we know that some clients want to secure their spot in a group class each week, while others want the flex of signing up at their convenience, Studio³ offers 2 types of class sign ups.

Group Series participants get early bird registration privileges to sign up and are committed to each class in the series.

Drop in class spots are made available 1 week before the series starts and provide you with the option to book week to week.

With group class options for every level of movement experience,  each class series is programmed to safely challenge and train all class participants.

We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy for all private, semi private and drop in group classes.

Our group class series have a separate cancellation policy. Please reach out for more details.
