(and think you will too)
These days, we’re thinking a little more about our neighbours and community.
So it felt right to share a few of the small, local businesses connected to the studio in a meaningful way – places that reflect the passion, care and dedication of the people behind them. Whether it’s cocktails after work, planning a seaside escape or a deep-tissue massage to wrap up the week, these are three businesses we love and think you will too.
Le Tigre

As Le Tigre approaches its third anniversary, the intimate cocktail bar above the piano store at 1060 Yonge Street continues to carve out its own place in Toronto’s nightlife scene.
Created by Rob Granicolo and Stephen Gouzopoulos (Nikki’s husband!😍), the team behind Dundas West’s Cry Baby Gallery, Le Tigre was built around a simple idea: give Midtown a proper cocktail bar with a late-night feel.
The room combines pink neon, a pink quartz bar, palm wallpaper, vintage jungle-cat statues and velvet seating, shifting from relaxed early evenings into a livelier late night.
The drinks are led by Andrew Foster, with a menu focused on well-made classics and playful cocktails. Martinis are a particular focus, including the house Dirty Martini made with Le Tigre’s signature brine, alongside drinks featuring gin and sake and hazelnut fat-washed cognac.
Music moves between retro disco and French electro, while intimate alcoves and seating make the space suited to a quick drink or longer night out.
Le Tigre is first come, first served, Monday through Saturday, with half-priced martinis from 5:00–7:00 PM every evening.

LAS Swimwear

LAS (Land&Sea) Swimwear was born from a personal need for a swimsuit that behaves like a little black dress – elegant, refined, subtly sculptured to flatter stylishly, forever.
A niche collection of 3 styles, very limited quantities, appealing to women who want a suit that transcends seasonal fads, carefully made with beautiful fabric and a versatility enabling the wearer to slide from water to world seamlessly with the addition of wardrobe staples.
A swimsuit that holds its own amidst the crowd as one of a kind, purposefully individual, yet endlessly adaptable. Inspired by the Grace Kelly era of quiet allure as opposed to obvious display, my hope is that the wearer feels shown off to her best advantage – forever.
Crafted with Tunisian manufacturing expertise, the most luxurious sustainable Italian fabrics corset and encapsulate the figure sculpting the silhouette with sophistication and the ease of a second skin. LAS is a swimwear designed to endure beautifully, even as we change.
