As a former professional ballet dancer, Pilates and Gyrotonic have been part of Caroline’s life since childhood.
Her passion for dancing started in her hometown of Florence, Italy before she moved to Munich to pursue study at the Bavarian State Ballet Academy. She furthered her education in Berlin at the State Ballet School and it was here that she received her Bachelors of Art.
Her first introduction to the Pilates method was in the United Kingdom where as a young dancer she attended several summer programs at the Royal Ballet School in London. Realizing how Pilates dramatically improved her strength, flexibility, endurance and overall dance technique, Caroline began to incorporate the discipline in her daily training routine.
During her career she performed throughout Europe and Russia and was a member of both the “Oper Halle” ballet company in Germany and the “Grand theatre Łódź” company in Poland. But after a serious injury ended her dance career, Caroline decided to deepen her understanding of movement education and rehabilitation. In 2016, she began her movement education at Gyrotonic Europe in Bad Krozingen, Germany where she was fortunate enough to study under Abel Horvath.
After certifying in the Gyrontoic training, Caroline headed to Toronto where she completed her full STOTT Pilates comprehensive education program in 2017 at the STOTT head office. She also certified in the STOTT Pilates Total Barre.
With enthusiasm and dedication, Caroline shares with clients her passion for movement and mindfulness. Her focus is to help her clients achieve their fitness goals, gain and sustain better posture and increase their overall body awareness. Her deepest satisfaction as an instructor is helping clients relieve pain and improve their overall wellbeing.
Caroline has been an instructor in demand throughout Toronto since completion of her training and she is now thrilled to be part of the Studio3 team.
In her free time she loves to play tennis, practice yoga, ski, and dance.
